We are very happy to announce that we have met someone new and will be holding an exhibition at gallery Maruyama Stitch in Okayama in March. This will be a two-person exhibition with KURI BOTELLA, who makes beautiful socks and tights with beautiful colours and patterns.

Gallery Maruyama Stitch is based on the concept of ‘careful living close to nature’ and is centred around lifestyle designer Akiko Sano, who practices and proposes a hearty lifestyle that leads to ‘joy of living’ by putting her heart and hands into it, The concept is to create a warm place where people can meet each other through the practice and proposal of a hearty lifestyle that leads to the ‘joy of living’.

Maruyama Stitch has a wonderful gallery filled with warm light. We are really looking forward to having an exhibition in this space.

On 2 and 3 March, we will be holding a Belpasso order session as a two-day event. We will be able to offer you shoes that suit your taste and your feet. You can also have your foot size measured, choose the material and colour, and have your shoes made to order.

Although the weather is still cold, we make shoes every day in the hope that we can bring you shoes that will make you feel the warmth of spring.

We are looking forward to meeting you.

I make mainly custom-made shoes in my atelier in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. She has held exhibitions and solo shows in Japan and abroad, including the MICAM exhibition in Italy.

I make shoes with a motif of seasonal nature, with the idea of ‘beautiful to look at and comfortable to wear’ in mind. Each item is carefully made, paying particular attention to the wooden pattern, paper pattern, materials and design. I make my shoes so that daily life can be comfortable and enjoyable.
